Not only do I have a noisy negihbor but also it seems that also a laundry room stalker has moved in to the building. I went to the laundry room at the time I had reserved it in the reservation book. I notice that the dryer is still on. Well, there is this woman there that starts talking to me about a lock thing on the wall and asks what it is. I say I do not know and she replies something. Then she talks about how booked the laundry room is all the time and I agree. She proceds to flip through the washing machine instruction sheet and explaining that she just moved in and she needs to learn how the machines wok. I still agree a little confused about what’s going on. Then she leaves and I proceed to turn on the washing machine.

After I start the cycle  I wait around few minutes to see that the machine starts properly, as I am waiting I go to the reservation book and glance on it. It’s full of angrily scribbled comments and remarks of somebody asking whose each reservation is and that it is not allowed to book several hours in one session and answers telling the person making the remarks to get a life. Beside the book there is a separate piece of paper saying that people need to stop stalking the reservations and stop stealing stuff from the machines.

My load is ready in 50 minutes or so and when I go to get my laundry, another woman steps in to the room and proceeds to unload the dryer. This is when I connect the dots. The earlier woman must have been the laundry stalker that has written all the booking remarks and questions on the book. She was stalking to see whether I use my booking or not. I mean there has never been any remarks written on the book before, she said she just moved in and the laundry in the dryer wasn’t hers.

So I’ve met my first apartment building watcher. How nice, can’t get any better than this. I hope she didn’t steal my laundry. If she did, I wouldn’t know.
